Overview

The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is emerging as a new standard for structuring the communication between the world of IT and business. Because it is a new language in every sense of the word, parties from both worlds have to learn how to use it to communicate more effectively. This interactive workshop presents techniques for using this new language to define business problems, extrapolate business needs, and document the business requirements for a technological solution.

You will learn how to create use case diagrams, class and object models, state diagrams and other models that both the subject matter experts and the information system professionals can understand and interpret the same way.
